Atlantic Chef Knives The Eastern tradition in the treatment of blades joins the strength of German steel in the Atlantic Chef line.
The steel of the Atlantic Chef knives is German steel 1.4116-X50 CR MO V15. The combination of carbon, chrome, molybdenum, vanadium and other materials, gives the blade a hardness of HRC 56 'and more, providing rigidity and elasticity at the same time, increasing corrosion resistance and optimizing cutting efficiency.
At the end of the production process a manual sanding intervention guarantees the long life of the wire, an easy maintenance and a quick refinement.
The Atlantic Chef knives are all certified NSF © INTERNATIONAL, an American non-governmental organization that operates in training and certification in the fields of public health and safety and sets some standards for the food industry.
The handles are made with the combination of Santoprene (a special elastomer with anti-slip qualities) and polypropylene.
They offer secure grip, total knife control and maximum strength.
