This set of Dickoron Classic steels with sapphire cut and Dickoron Polish restores the edge of your knives, leaving them polished and well sharpened. With the Action Sharpening steels, sharpening your everyday knives is quick and guarantees excellent cutting performance. The special Dickoron Classic sapphire cut steel is designed to restore all knives used for meat processing (boning, French and cutting knives). Its special sapphire surface treatment provides excellent abrasion on knives that have lost their cutting edge and need to remove surface roughness formed on the edge after intensive blade use. After restoring the cutting edge with the Dickoron Classic, you can perfectly polish the edge with the Dickoron Polish steel, designed to eliminate micro-burrs on the knife edge and achieve a smooth edge with effortless cutting. Both sharpening steels have an oval shape, ensuring optimal edge recovery for both short-blade and long-blade knives. Both sharpening steels have a length of 30 cm, ideal for sharpening the entire cutting edge in a single stroke. The Action Sharpening steels are extremely hard, especially the Dickoron Classic with sapphire cut. Their high-temperature hardening process reaches 820°C – 900°C. The outer layer is hardened to 66 HRC, while the core remains softer, ensuring high stability against deformation and breakage.
